Former NCOLM State Queens grace the stage of MNCOTeen and Miss NC each year. The NCOLM family is sooooo excited to support them all as we watch their fairy tales unfold. We love them ALL!!!! Tune in next Spring to see who from the NCOLM family who will grace the MNCOTeen and Miss NC stages.





Competition Divisions

Little (4 to 6)
  • NOTE: NCOLM reserves the right to separate the Little Division by age and create a Petite Division. Competition for the Petite Division will be the same as competition for the Little Division
  • Interview - 35% (stand up, self-introduction, 4 minutes)
  • Gown - 35%
  • Fitness - 20% (fitness outfit and routine)
  • On Stage Question
  • MUST DO TALENT TO QUALIFY FOR Mini - MAJESTIC

Junior (7 to 8)
  • Interview - 35% (stand up, self-introduction, 5 minutes)
  • Talent - 35% (2 minutes, no exceptions)
  • Gown - 15%
  • Fitness - 10% (fitness outfit and routine)
  • On Stage Question - 5%

Pre-teen (9 to 10) - Young (11 to 12) - Miss (13 to 16)
  • Interview - 35% (stand up, self-introduction, 6 minutes)
  • Talent - 35% (2 minutes, no exceptions)
  • Gown - 15%
  • Fitness - 10% (fitness outfit and routine)
  • On Stage Question - 5%




Majestic Titles

Majestic
The contestant from the Young, or Miss divisions with the highest combined score of all competition phases, including photogenic and optional areas.

Mini-Majestic
The contestant from the Little, Junior, Preteen divisions with the highest combined score of all competition phases, including photogenic and optional areas.

Dream Angel

Nominated position! If you know of a young girl who deals with a life-altering condition, please nominate her to become the next Dream Angel. Email the nomination (picture and story) to directors@ncoutstandinglittlemiss.org. Help a special young lady in your life be a Queen for a year!





Wardrobe Examples


Interview
Contestants will have a one-on-one interview. They will introduce themselves and stand during the interview. They should dress in business attire. "Sunday best" is appropriate for younger contestants.

Evening Gown
The evening gown phase of competition allows contestants to show their poise, grace, and elegant style. Dresses should be full length and age-appropriate.

Fitness Wear

In keeping with preparing to maintain a healthy life style, Fitness Wear will be a fitness wear outfit like you would see at “big girl” pageants. One or two piece, long or short pants, crop or full tops are acceptable, but no booty shorts. Show your personality, but remember these are little girls. A simple fitness routine will be emailed to you once we receive your application. These are just examples.

Talent

In the talent phase of competition contestants showcase their special abilities. Attire should be age-appropriate, suitable for the type of talent showcased, and showcase the girl's individual style and personality.

Opening Number

Attire consists of white bottoms and shoes, and the pageant t-shirt. T-shirt will be provided at interview.
