FAQ:
A: NO information about this system will ever be posted on a voyboard, especially 155504 and 52319.  If it is posted on one of those boards, it is an imposter, not anyone in the NCOLM organization.  Again, If you see it there, it's not official and did not come from us.  We have created an official board for parents to talk with each other http://www.voy.com/217376/. Bashing of children, parents, other systems or Directors will not be tolerated for any reason.  This system will be a 100% NO BASH ZONE from our staff, to our volunteers to our contestants and parents!

A: Yes, NCOLM is the ONLY Little Miss system that is 100% approved and supported by the Miss NC organization!
The goal of NCOLM is threefold:
              1)  To prepare young girls to compete in the Miss NC/NCOT program
              2)  To increase scholarships for Miss NC and NCOT; our goal is $20,000
              3)  To increase the $'s for CMN

A: Yes, we feel that experiencing the "Dorm Life" is an exciting, more economical feature of the pageant and help the girls adjust to "Dorm Life" as a Miss contestant.  Dorm room included in competition price.

Q:  Is it acceptable for an adult female, other than the mother of the contestant, to be her chaperone in the dorm?
A: Yes, another adult female that you determine is responsible for your daughter may stay with her.  We are just requiring that all contestants stay at the college so that the girls learn the ins and outs of dorm living

A: Yes. The Children's Miracle Network is the charity of choice.  Promoting community service and helping others, the 2011 NCOLM court will raise money for Children's Miracle Network throughout their year of service.  Carefully supervised and guided through successful fundraising methods, the NCOLM court will proudly present a check to the Miss NC organization on stage during the 2011Miss NC pageant.

Q: Do I have to compete in a NCOLM preliminary?
A: You may compete as a contestant at large in 2011, however if you compete in a preliminary you will receive a $100 discount.  If you are a Carolina Princess, you will get an additional $50 discount.  We are currently in search of  preliminary directors for the 2011 season.  If you are not a Miss NC preliminary pageant, there will be a franchise fee of $100 which will be waived this year.
All Miss NC/NCOT preliminary pageants are
exempt from paying a franchise fee.
